When installing our LED recessed step lights, you need a tape measure, level, saw, drill driver, and pencil for marking. You have to consider the width of the riser and make sure that the recessed step lights are positioned in the middle.
Remove the screws and front cover of the step lights. You have to be left with the part of the step lights that will be recessed into the step. The light fixture should be about half-inch under the tread of the step.
Once measured, use the level to ensure the lights will be positioned leveled under the step. After you’ve completed your markings, cut the hole for the fixture. Use the drill and the saw. Insert the light fixture and put the covers.
Make sure you insert the LED bulb and the wiring connections before setting the fixture in place. Then put the cover to install it properly.
